Vernon traffic signal power washing this week

Vernon’s annual spring clean-up program is moving along. Most street sweeping has been completed and now city-owned traffic signals and pedestrian crosswalk signals, will be power washed starting Monday May 3.
Traffic signal technicians will do the pressure washing weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and will take approximately four weeks to complete, weather dependent.
“If you see a technician working on an intersection while you’re traveling around town, please slow down and use caution in the area. The city appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding while this work is being completed,” Christy Poirier, manager of communications stated.
