Vipers thwarted by hot goalie in loss to Warriors

The Vernon Vipers came up against a hot goaltender Friday night in a 3-2 loss to the West Kelowna Warriors.

The Vipers outshot the Warriors 44-23, but WK goalie Johnny Derrick stole the victory.

Tyler Carpendale and Nick Kent scored for Vernon who are now 4-3-1-0 in the pod season.

The Vipers are next in action on Saturday night when they play the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, 5:45 pre game show on Beach Radio.
