Vipers snap back into win column with OT victory

The Vernon Vipers snapped a three game losing skid as they edged the Salmon Arm Silverbacks 6-5 in overtime Wednesday afternoon at Kal Tire Place.

Zack Tonelli got the winner at 3:51 of the extra frame, the first BCHL goal for the Armonk, New York native, to give Vernon a 4-2-1-0 record in the 20-game pod season.

JoJo Tanaka-Campbell added two goals and one assist for Vernon, while Danny Ciccarello turned on the red light twice for Salmon Arm in the see-saw contest.
