Be in the stands for the return of Vernon Vipers Hockey

You could be in Kal Tire place when the Vernon Vipers return to action April 2 against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and you won’t even have to wear a mask, but you will be a cutout.

The BCHL team has launched a promotion called ‘Fan in the Stands’ sponsored by a local company Printech.

The Vipers are giving fans a unique opportunity for the upcoming ‘Pod Season’.

For $30 + GST you can have you photo printed of yourself or your hero onto a cutout which will be placed all across Kal Tire Place.

Once the season is over, fans will have the cutout returned to them.

The fan cutout idea was started by a German soccer super fan who was disappointed he couldn’t attend home games of his club. The idea quickly spread to all kinds of sports leagues around the world, with some adding canned crowd noise to make the TV viewing experience more realistic.
