Massive waterfront development proposed

It has been envisioned for more than a decade, and the Mission Group’s lakefront development ‘Aqua” could finally be proceeding.
The company bought the six acre parcel more than ten years ago and was given rezoning by Kelowna Council in 2018, but never proceeded.
Mission Group has applied to Kelowna Council for development permits and will also ask for variances for height, front and side yard setbacks and parking.
The lower Mission project at 3838 Capozzi Rd (south of the Eldorado Hotel) originally called for three towers of 13, 15 and 17 stories, on a four storey base surrounded by townhomes, along with a four storey boat storage facility. There will be ground floor retail, a club house and an estimated 300 residential units.
