Minor delays on Vernon street

Motorists may encounter minor traffic delays on Alexis Park Drive in Vernon later this week.

Repairs are being made to sections of the southbound lane.

“Starting tomorrow (Friday), contractors will begin road repairs between the 3000 and 3100 blocks, as well as the 4000 to 4200 blocks of Alexis Park Drive,” stated a city news release. “The work is expected to be completed the following day, and work will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. both days.”

During construction, lane closures will be required and traffic controls will be in place. Anyone traveling through the area, is asked to slow down and obey all traffic control personnel and signage.
