Possible expansion for Vernon Square Shopping Centre

The owners of the Vernon Square Shopping Centre may be looking at adding more square footage to the 98,000 square feet of retail space.

“There could be room for another pad located between London Drugs and White Spot allowing for a few more stores,” Kevin Poole Economic Development and Tourism manager said.

The centre houses a mix of over 20 tenants including Safeway, London Drugs, Dollarama, Vernon Liquor Store, Pet Planet, White Spot and Prospero Credit Union.

The desirable location has rare vacancies (there have been some since COVID-19) with 25,000 vehicles a day passing by.
