Vehicles detoured after highway crash in Vernon

A two vehicle crash has slowed down the drive home for some Vernon commuters.

Emergency personnel have been on the scene of the crash at Highway 6 and Waddington Drive, which took place after 4:00 p.m.

A blue four-door Acura turning left towards Vernon was struck by a black four-door Chevrolet sedan headed eastbound on Highway 6.

Injuries are said to be minor.

Traffic is being diverted on to Waddington Drive and single lane westbound into Vernon.
