Vipers remain ‘hopeful’ for BCHL season

The Vernon Vipers are telling their fans they continue to work toward what they hope will be a BCHL season in some form later this year, but at this point they have no idea what it will look like.

In an open letter addressed to “the best fans in the BCHL,’ the Vipers ownership, management and staff said they are working with the league, the province and the city on plans and procedures should they get the go ahead.

“Our season ticket holders, volunteers and corporate partners are the lifeline of our organization and we want to make sure that we are providing a safe and fun environment once we do return,” the letter said.

“At this point we continue to be limited by the BC health authority, however we are hopeful with other sectors continuing to open and restrictions being lifted that we will have a season and be able to see you all soon.”
