Vipers add power forward with potential

The Vernon Vipers are getting more talent from Alberta as they build their team for the next BCHL season.

The team has got a committment from Ethan Mercer, a Slave Lake Alberta product who played last season with the Northern Alberta X-Treme Prep team.

He finished with 17 goals and 14 assists in 36 games played.

Mercer was a teammate with other new commit, Logan Lorenz.

Vipers head coach and GM Jason McKee describes Mercer as a “heavy power forward with raw potential to really improve quickly.”
