Long range plan discussed for schools

School District 83 is looking for feedback on its long range plan for Armstrong schools.

A consultation session for Armstrong and Falkland residents will be held at 6:30 tonight (Jan. 27) at Pleasant Valley Secondary School in Armstrong.

With Armstrong and Highland Park schools already at capacity, the district is considering several options including purchasing land for a new elementary school in the city.

Other options are to change the Armstrong zone to K-7 and 8-12, or to K-6 and 7-12.
