Vipers name assistant captains
The Vernon Vipers have filled out their leadership group for the coming B.C. Hockey League season, naming Landon Fuller, Trey Taylor and Ben Sanderson as assistant captains.
That follows the earlier announcement that third year forward Connor Marritt will be the captain.
Fuller is a 20-year-old Williams Lake product who is entering his fifth season of junior hockey. His career started in 2015-26 with the Sicamous Eagles and has also seen stops in Tri-City and Vancouver in the WHL and Salmon Arm, Surrey, Coquitlam, and Vernon in the BCHL. He has played 223 career junior hockey games.
“With Landon he has such a commanding presence,” Head Coach and GM Jason McKee said. “It resonates on the ice and in our dressing room.”
