Okanagan Screen Arts Society Awards Bursary

It was with great pleasure that the Okanagan Screen Arts Society presented Sierra Shaw with a $2,000 bursary to help pursue her education while she is attending Concordia University in the Design for Theatre program specializing in set design.

The other recipients of a $2,000 bursary are Bree Vanderleest, who will be accepting her bursary at the Vernon Towne Cinema on August 26th, and Shaughnessy O’Brien who will be mailed her bursary cheque as she is already away at university.

it is due to the incredible support of our patrons that we are able to provide these bursaries to local students pursuing educations in the arts.
