Vernon Art Gallery gears up for 33rd annual Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts

Jun 7, 2019 | 4:15 PM

It’s dubbed as one of the biggest social events of the North Okanagan.

The Vernon Public Art Gallery announced new details for its popular event, a Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts.

The event will take place Wednesday July 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 11p.m. at the Mackie Lake House.

The social soiree will feature gourmet appetizers, live music and an auction.

“Each year our community comes together to show us their support through Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts. This iconic Greater Vernon event has been providing the VPAG with the funding we require to bring quality exhibitions to our area and in turn helps direct the programming for the general public and the educational tours we provide to the thousands of kids through our program every year,” Duana Kennedy, Executive Director of the Vernon Public Art Gallery, said.

Jason Armstrong from Beach Radio 107.5 will once again emcee the event alongside auctioneers from Valley Auction.

Tickets are available to purchase online through their website, in person at the gallery, or by phone at 250-545-3173.
