Shamrocks and Tigers pick up wins

The Armstrong Shamrocks cruised to a 9-2 victory over the Kelowna Raiders Friday night in Rutland in the thompson Oknaangan Senilor Lacross League.

The Shamrocks were powered by Brett Hawrys who scored four “highlight-reel goals” while goalie Chad Pieper stopped nearly everything thrown at him.

The Shamrocks travel to Kamloops next Friday night.

Vernon Tigers got their first win of the season downing the Kamloops a Rattlers 7-2 at home.
