Hockey Team Donates Bus For Frisbee Trek

Members of an Okanagan school’s ultimate frisbee team are able to get to provincials thanks to the generosity of a BC Hockey League team.

The West Kelowna Warriors have donated their team bus to the Charles Bloom Secondary frisbee team from Lumby.

“Unfortunately they didn’t have enough parent drivers… until the Warriors came through and donated their team bus,” says Angie Clowry in an email to Beach Radio News.

Clowry says team parent Jon Kineshanko, who has driven tractor trailers for years, has taken time off work to donate his time behind the wheel.
