It’s on to the BC Hockey League Final for the Vernon Vipers.
The Snakes dethroned last year’s champions, the Wenatchee Wild, in five games, with a 3-1 win in the Washington city Friday.
Vernon overcame a 1-0 deficit with three straight goals in the second period from Jack Judson, Ben Sanderson and captain Jagger Williamson.
Aidan Porter made 25 saves for the win in net before 2,246 fans at the Town Toyota Centre.

The Vipers will take on the Prince George Spruce Kings for the Fred Page Cup, with the schedule to be released.
PG is expected to get home ice advantage as they had 84 points (2nd in Mainland Division) in the regular season and the Vipers had 63 (4th in Interior).
It’s the Vipers first trip to the final since 2014 when they were swept by the Coquitlam Express while the Spruce Kings lost in last year’s final to Wenatchee.
