UPDATE

The Vernon Vipers advanced to the BCHL’s Interior Final after a 5-2 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters Monday, taking the series four games to three.

A season high sold-out crowd of 3,205 was on hand at Kal Tire Place.

The Vipers will meet the defending champion Wenatchee Wild starting Saturday (changed from earlier) in Washington state.

The full series schedule is expected to be finalized later today.

The biggest crowd of the season is expected to be on hand for game 7 between the Vernon Vipers and Trail Smoke Eaters tonight.

Fans have been lining up for tickets since this morning, and the Vipers said, as of 1:30 pm, only a few hundred seats were left, meaning over 3,000 fans will be at Kal Tire Place for the win-or-go-home game.

If you can’t get a ticket, you can always listen to the game on 107.5 Beach Radio with Graham Turnbull starting at 6:45.

The series winner will advance to play the Wenatchee Wild (defending champions) in the Interior Final starting Friday in Wenatchee Washington.

The Victoria Grizzlies host the Powell River Kings in game 7 of their series tonight, with the winner advancing to take on the Prince George Spruce Kings.
