Vipers Win Game 5, Lead Series 3-2
The Vernon Vipers won the all-important game 5 of their series against the Trail Smoke Eaters, Friday night at Kal tire Place. The win puts the Vipers ahead in the series, 3 games to 2 headed into game 6.
The game started with a tribute to Vipers Captain Jagger Williamson, who tied the franchise record for most regular season games played.
After a flat first period for the Vipers, Connor Marritt got things started for Vernon with a short-handed goal. Teddy Wooding scored two goals, with Kowalski and Bilodeau also finding the back of the net.
