Tough loss at home for the Vernon Vipers dropping a 5-2 decision to the Merritt Centennials.
Vernon led 2-1 going into the 3rd. but the Cents came back with a 4 goal 3rd. earning the road win.
US product 19 yr. old Teddy Wooding scored his first career B.C. Hockey League goal, good enough for Second Star, while Jack Judson accounted for Vernon’s second goal.
It’s not getting easier for the Vipers facing Penticton for a home and home series kicking off this Friday in Penticton and 6 Saturday at Kal Tire Place. Vipers go into that series sitting at 3-3-2.
