Heartbreaking Loss for The Rockets Going Down in Four
In WHL playoff action last night it was a quick first round exit for the Kelowna Rockets losing 4 straight as they dropped another 5-3 decision to the Tri-City Americans.
Dillon Dube had 2 goals in the loss, good enough for Third Star and Kole Lind had 2 assists. Kelowna won the B.C. Division of the 2017-2018 WHL season with a record of 43-22-5-2
The game was a back-and-forth affair as the Rockets answered the Americans scoring goal by goal, until the dying moments of regulation time.
Then Morgan Geekie would pop in the last 2 of his 3 goals in the final minute of the game to seal the win and the series for Tri-City in front of over 3000 crazed fans.
