2018 Enactus Soups On!

Today your Beach Radio Events Crew attended the annual “Soups On” at Okanagan College.

The sold out event gave ticket holders the chance to try soups from eight local restaurants and vote on their favourite. Participating restaurants included: Intermezzo, The Kal, Basket Case Picnics, Sprouted Fig, Kal’s Naan Stop, Eatology, Nature’s Fair, and Little Tex.

All guests enjoyed beverages while socializing with Chef’s and the Enactus Crew. Included with the purchase of an event ticket you were entered in the draw for door prizes and received a free drink voucher.

Through ticket sales, donations, silent auction items, and more the Enactus group raised an approximate $6000.  Half  of all proceeds are going to the Upper Room Mission.

The third place soup of the evening was courtesy of Basket Case Picnics, the runner up of the evening was The Kal, and the first place soup came from Intermezzo. No guests had anything bad to say about any soup, and all restaurants deserve recognition for their chefs creations. Your Beach Radio Events Crew was honoured and proud to be a part of this event, and we are already counting down the days until next year’s Soups On!
