This evening your Beach Radio Events Crew played paparazzi on Vernon’s very own red carpet! Everyone dressed up to strike their best poses for the camera at The Vernon Towne Cinema for the 2018 Oscar Night.

Viewers submitted their nominations for who they thought would win the 90th Annual Academy Awards, with a prize to be drawn for each category. The Academy Awards were all streamed from the Dolby Theatre live in Hollywood!

The North Okanagan Hospice Society also put on a raffle with prizes donated from various local businesses. It was a true Hollywood event with champagne, wine, and plenty of popcorn to go around! Proceeds from tonight’s event will be given to The North Okanagan Hospice Society.
