Never in my life have I heard so many people (men especially) talk about figure skating after what has transpired at the Olympics over the past few days. The French wardrobe malfunction ensured that absolutely everyone (guys, I’m looking at you) was watching Virtue and Moir last night.
Something not enough people talking about though… Ski ballet. For two consecutive winter Olympics (1988 and 1992) the world enjoyed ski ballet as a demonstration sport. The International Olympic Committee removed the support from the line up after the ’92 games and by 2000, the international ski federation ceased all formal competition.
