Vernon Salvation Army Says Thanks
The Salvation Army in Vernon now expects their Kettle campaign will end up where it sits at roughly 430 thousand dollars.
Spokesman Lieutenant Stefan Reid says they wrapped up a debrief of the annual campaign and agreed to approach different food stores to take part in the gift card program.
There are a few other areas to tweak.
“Expanding hamper times, so instead of just doing three days of interviews, if we did a week of interviews. Then night time ones as well for people who work during the day and are unable to get out.”
