Bernese Mountain Dogs Give Silver Star 4 Paws Rating

Bernese Mountain dogs are known for their love of Mountains and the snow, so it came to no surprise to see them happily bounding through SilverStar Mountain Resort’s powder on Thursday January 4th.

Thirteen Bernese Mountain dogs and their owners descended upon SilverStar to surprise skiers, snowboarders and onlookers during their midday visit to the village.

Children and adults alike were overcome with joy being able to pat and take photos of these affectionate and loyal canines.

The video of the surprise was uploaded to SilverStar’s Facebook page and has since reached over 64,000 people in under 12 hours and has infected the locals with delight.

The surprise visit from SilverStar’s most popular visitors was a welcome to locals “They are just the most beautiful dogs. They make me so happy! Best day ever” says Shannon Lamontagne of Kelowna.
