Thousands Have Been Immunized

Interior Health says there’s been no further confirmed cases of meningococcul disease since last week.
That case was outside the Okanagan, but within the I-H region.
The agency continues to hold public clinics to allow people in the targeted 15 to 19 year old range to get immunized, although none are scheduled for the North Okanagan this week.
The latest info shows almost 13-thousand people have got the shot — or 60 percent of the targeted population — since an outbreak was declared a few weeks ago.
