RDNO Supports SAR Building Need

The Regional District of North Okanagan is ready to support Vernon Search and Rescue in its quest for more space.

The team’s current building next to the regional district office is now too small to meet its needs.

RDNO Board Chair Bob Fleming says the board is waiting to see what plan B is, since expansion of the building is unlikely due to environmental issues.

“Our administration working with the principals at SAR to consider several options, and there are several options that have been looked at.”
