Vernon Mayor Mulls Re-election Bid

Vernon’s Mayor doesn’t know yet if he’s going to see re-election in the civic vote next October.

Akbal Mund figures on making a decision somewhere around April or May.

“We still got almost 8 months to decide. We’ll see. You know when your kids are getting a little bit older. Now one’s going to be in high school. You want to make sure you have time for them as well too because after high school they’re gone.”

He says he doesn’t want to wait too long, knowing that other people may be considering a run.
