No Date For Civic Arena Demolition

Vernon Mayor Akbal Mund isn’t sure when Civic Arena is going to be torn down.

But he expects it could be torn down before the new rink at Kal Tire Place opens.

“We haven’t confirmed but I know we’ll push to have it done before this council leaves. That’s important to us. You know,  another decision made.
Get it done and the next council won’t have to worry about it.”

The new rink is on time and on budget and Mund thinks it could even be open before September 1st.
