New Year’s Baby For Vernon

Vernon’s first baby of 2018 arrived late in the afternoon on New Year’s Day.

Interior Health says Taylor Carey-Ashe of Vernon gave birth to a 7 pound 14 oz girl at 5:10 pm Monday at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

She and father Franjo (Frankie) Beg have yet to name their baby.

Penticton had the Okanagan first new year’s baby, a boy, just after 2 am Monday, while Caitlyn and Jayden Harrington had the New Year’s  baby in Kelowna, a boy checking in around noon Monday.
