One Suspect Eliminated In Best Buy Theft

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP now say one of two young men captured on video after a theft at Best Buy December 18th and who is shown in a picture in a news release has been identified and is no longer considered to be involved in the theft.

Vernon RCMP are still seeking information on the second person of interest in the photo.

RCMP are asking for help to identify some persons of interest in a theft case from a Vernon business.

Two men entered the Best Buy on 24th Street Monday at 7 pm, and allegedly walked out the back door with speakers and a hub, valued at $1,400.

“The individuals fled out the back door, into a vehicle and were not located by police,” says Cst. Kelly Brett.

Police have issued surveillance photos of the possible suspects.
