Vipers Win Heading Into Holidays
The Vernon Vipers will enjoy the next 12 days sitting at the top of the BCHL standing following a 5-2 win over divisional rival Trail. The Vipers improved their first place record to 25-7-1-4 with 55 points on the season.
The Snakes had a strong performance last night led by Josh Prokop who scored his third hat trick of the season to earn first star honours. Second star Jagger Williamson had two very pretty set ups while Jesse Lansdell also chipped in with a goal and several big hits to garner 3rd star. Viper Assistant Coach Kevin Kraus earned his second win of the season behind the bench filling in for Mark Ferner who is on a scouting trip heading into the Christmas Break.
