Dec 17, 2017 | 10:47 AM
Checking Drive BC and Environment Canada, a heavy snowfall warning has been issued for the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
They say to also expect accumulations of 15 to 25 centimeters on Highway 3 as well from Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass
The heaviest snow is expected across the North Thompson, North and West Columbia as well asĀ Kinbasket.
The snow is expected to move southward and taper off on Monday. But in the meantime always be aware that conditions in the mountainous areas can change suddenly in many cases without warning.
