Vernon Salvation Army Needs Bell Ringers
I’m sure most of us have come across the Salvation Army Christmas kettles this time of the year. Have you ever wondered what that would feel like…to be helping out others by actually being one of those bell ringers.
Kristin Ford of the Salvation Army says there’s nothing quite like it. Nobody puts money in the kettles without a smile on their faces…it’s contagious.
Lots of shifts need filling, so the need is there for volunteers right now.
There’s 13 locations around town and each shift lasts two hours and all but one of the locations are indoors.
