Team Morris Winless At Oly Trials

The Vernon rink is off to a rough start at the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings in Ottawa.

John Morris and his rink with Jim Cotter fell to 0-3 with an 8-6 loss to Brad Gushue from St John’s Newfoundland Monday.

Calgary’s Kevin Koe at 3-0 leads the men’s standings, while Jennifer Jones of Winnipeg is on top of the women at 3-0.

The competition will determine Canada’s men’s and women’s teams for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea in February.
