Wild Hold Off Vipers 3-2
Oct 11, 2017 | 10:25 PM
The Vernon Vipers scored a pair of short-handed goals but ended up empty handed on the road as the Wenatchee Wild held on for a 3-2 victory.
Five on five the Wild game plan seemed simple yet effective as they funneled pucks at Anthony Yamnitsky who had many bodies to deal with.
The Snakes did get a few chances at the Wild goal, but Keyvan Mokhtari ripped one off the cross bar. Yamnitsky was on point stopping a number of great chances to keep his team in a 2-2 tie through 40 minutes.
