Vipers Cut One Player, Trade Another

The Vernon Vipers are down to 24 players as they get set for their BCHL season opener Friday in Salmon Arm.

Forward Ryan Brushett has been traded to the Surrey Eagles for future considerations while veteran Simon Sagissor has been released.

The team is looking to get down to 23 players, and says another move is expected by Thursday.

The Snakes play the Silverbacks in Salmon Arm Friday followed by their home opener Saturday at 6 pm.

Tickets are available from 9-4 at the Viper office in Kal Tire Place.
