An awesome final night of Civic Sounds!

Tonight was the last night of the downtown Vernon Association’s free outdoor Civic Sounds concerts, and it was an awesome one! Tonight’s band was called 6 Shades of Grey, made up of some of Vernon’s strongest musicians playing everyone’s favourite songs from the past! The crowds were out in full force, dancing and having a blast, as well as enjoying some of the awesome vendors and food trucks! Serving up delicious food and drinks to warm up the crowd were local vendors such as the Wings food truck serving delicious meals and tea essentials serving the perfect cup of hot tea for the windy night! telus was also on site handing out free sunglasses and holding draws to winsome awesome prizes. Speaking of draws, we draw the lucky winner of our KISS FM contest to win an IPE family pass, a huge thank you to everyone who entered the draw and came to say hi to the Events Crew! The crew were handing out SunRype treats, 107.5 KISS FM “Summer of Savings” coupon books, and selling Okanagan Landscape photo Books by Digital Dean Photography, with proceeds going to the santa toy club!

Again, an awesome night of music and dancing to close out this summer’s Civic Sounds, we’re super glad to have been a part of it!
