Bike Skills Facility Proceeding in Park

A new bike skills park will be constructed this year in Becker Park, next to the Vernon Rec Complex.

The City is holding an open house, info and feedback session on the plan next week.

It will be at the Recreation Centre Thursday, July 13 from 4 to 7 pm.

“The public is encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the proposed facility,” says a City of Vernon news release.

Members of the local cycling association have said the park could include trails, a kid zone, pump track, jump zone, and a skills zone.
