Athletes Named To BC Team

Some Greater Vernon athletes have been named to BC’s team for the 2017 Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.

Landon Currie from Coldstream will play in male volleyball, along with Oyama’s Morgan Nichols.

Mackenzie Horst of Vernon has been chosen for female basketball.

The Games will take place July 28 to August 13th in Winnipeg.

The athletes named to the other 13 sports will be announced in May and June.

The complete list of Team BC athletes going to the Canada Games will be available by July 14.
