Vernon’s Kevin Hill has won a snowboard-cross medal at the World championships in Sierra Nevada Spain.

The 30 year old Hill teamed up with Calgary’s Chris Robanske to take the bronze in the men’s team competition.

“Picked up a bronze medal at the World Championships team event today with @chrisrobanske,” said Hill on Instagram. “Thanks for holding it down and riding like a boss in every heat bro!”

“Thanks to my family and all my sponsors for the support though the ups and downs this season has held for me.”
Hill is Canada’s top snowboardcross racer.

Among his career highlights are a silver medal at the 2015 World Championships in Kreischberg, a gold at the 2015 X Games in Aspen, and a Canadian best 5th place at the Sochi 2014 Olympics.
