Snakes lose 4-2 to Victoria

The Vipers almost had a comeback on their hands last night.

The Victoria Grizzlies had 3 goals in the first period that were unanswered by the snakes until halfway through the 3rd when Ryan Brushett netted one for the Vipers.

Brett Stapely had another 7 minutes later and it looked like the snakes were back in it, until Victorias Nathan Looysen scored on an empty net to seal the deal with less than a minute left.

Vernon hosts Alberni Valley tonight at Kal Tire Place, 6pm face off.
