Movie Set For Okanagan

Jan 30, 2017 | 5:32 PM

Movie crews will be in the Okanagan for a project this fall.

Producer Rick Dugdale — originally from Enderby — says “Peace” is a World War 2 film that will start preparing in October, and shooting in November.

“Four people are trudging through the backwoods of Italy being led by an older man who they are not if he is for them or against them, so it’s a real morality tale,” Dugdale tells Kiss FM

Dugdale — who produced Blackway with Anthony Hopkins last year –says the actual sites still have to be decided.

“It will come down to logistics, and where you can situate your company and make things easier to shoot, but there is places in Vernon, Kelowna, Enderby and Lumby that all work great.”

Dugdale says the stars of the film are still to be determined.

“It will certainly be a great cast.”

The film is based on a best selling book by Richard Bausch called Peace.
