Truck Stolen From Parking Lot

RCMP say a pickup truck was taken from a hotel parking lot in Vernon late Tuesday night.

Officers in Kelowna patrolling near a problem residence in that city happened upon the truck and discovered it was stolen.

Police followed the vehicle to a gas station in Rutland and took its occupants into custody.

35 year old Darcy William Every of the Shuswap area faces a series of charges, including theft of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.

A 30 year old Kamloops woman is expected to appear in court to face charges as well
