Jan 26, 2017 | 3:36 PM
North Okanagan residents who use community mailboxes will want to make sure they are emptied on a regular basis.
Police are investigating a series of mailbox thefts in the last week.
One was broken into on Crosby Road, along with others on Davison Road and Old Kamloops Road.
Mounties are still trying to determine what was stolen.
“Residents are reminded to pick up their mail, if it’s in a community mailbox, as soon as possible,” says Cst. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP at (250) 545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800) 222-8477.
