Kelowna seeks public input on potential Glenmore-area growth study
The City of Kelowna is asking residents for feedback on a potential future growth area as part of its long-term planning work.
A short online survey is now open for land north of Glenmore Road, between the Glenmore landfill and Lake Country, which has been identified for further study as a possible expansion area.
The review is tied to the city’s 2040 Official Community Plan, approved in 2022, which directs most growth inside the existing Urban Growth Boundary through infill and higher-density development in areas such as Downtown, Rutland and the Lower Mission.
While that remains the focus, the plan also calls for examining long-term expansion options beyond the boundary.
