Fundraiser running to help keep doctors in Armstrong and Spallumcheen

An organization dedicated to keeping doctors in the North Okanagan is running a winter fundraiser.
The Haugen Community Healthcare Society, formed in 2008 to facilitate the Group Medical Clinic for Armstrong and Spallumcheen residents by sharing the clinic rental costs, is running a Hang a Stocking for Haugen fundraising campaign.
People can make a donation to support the local practice, and donors will be recognized by having a stocking with their name on it hung at the doctor’s office in Armstrong.
Donations to the Hang a Stocking for Haugen campaign can be made through to Dec. 20 at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce office at 3550 Bridge Street in Armstrong.
