A new storm is impacting travel on the roads and in the air, and forcing residents to keep the snow shovels busy.

Snowfall warnings are in effect for the North and Central Okanagan with Environment Canada forecasting 15 to 25 centimetres expected through tonight, with the snow changing to showers Tuesday as warmer weather moves in.

Mountain passes like the Coquihalla, the Connector and the Trans Canada through the Rogers Pass could get 15 cm’s today and another 20 cm’s tonight, with travel advisories due to poor conditions in effect.

The weather is also impacting Kelowna International Airport with many flights being delayed or cancelled with visibility down to one kilometre.
